Provincial Aerospace

Provincial Aerospace operates two distinct business units, an aerospace division (PAL Aerospace) and a scheduled airline with fixed base operations (PAL Airlines).

PAL Aerospace is a vertically integrated aerospace and defence company that provides customized and integrated special mission aircraft solutions to governments/militaries and the offshore oil and gas industry. These services are provided via mission systems design and integration, aircraft modifications, surveillance operations, logistics and in-service support.

PAL Aerospace has Canadian operating bases in St. John's, Newfoundland, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Comox, British Columbia and has international operating bases in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Curacao, Netherlands Antilles and Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. PAL Aerospace designs, builds, maintains and operates customized sensor equipped aircraft that are utilized globally for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions and maritime patrol aircraft. PAL Aerospace also has the ability to perform aircraft maintenance on its aircraft and also supports other aviation subsidiaries of the Company.

PAL Airlines is a niche regional airline with primary hubs in St. John's and Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Halifax, Nova Scotia. PAL Airlines provides passenger, charter, freight and air ambulance service to communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Quebec. The fixed base operations are located Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia.

Provincial operates a large fleet of aircraft, totaling approximately 30 aircraft, including operating aircraft owned by customers as part of the surveillance services.
