Keewatin is a profitable niche airline providing medevac service, scheduled and chartered passenger airline service and freight to locations in Nunavut and northern Manitoba. Keewatin’s business is driven by the necessity to move people and supplies in and out of communities that are not serviced by other means of transportation.
Keewatin prides itself on providing superior medical transport services utilizing highly-experienced medical professionals and freight crew aboard specially equipped aircraft. On its scheduled and charter passenger service, Keewatin has been successful by focusing on customer service and by using a common fleet of aircraft.
Keewatin has established two separate divisions:
(i) Nunavut Lifeline, which carries out the provision of medevac services to the Kivalliq region of Nunavut and northern Manitoba; and
(ii) Kivalliq Air, which carries out scheduled and charter airline passenger and freight services.
